SDCPN - St. Daniel Comboni Polytechnic- Naoi

St. Daniel Comboni Polytechnic - Naoi formerly known as Naoi Technical School (NTS). It’s located on the outskirts of Moroto Municipality, .It is a private Technical and vocational skills training center, registered with the Ministry of Education & Sports; under registration number ME/VOC/025. The school has for a long time enjoyed financial support of friends and well-wishers from Europe, especially the Comboni family, Government of Uganda, and parents.

Our Courses

St. Daniel Comboni Polytechnic-Naoi to date offers CJ, BCP, TCG, EI and MVT (Driving lessons) courses The Polytechnic has developed physical structures including classroom blocks, administration block, 2 dormitories, a dining & kitchen, a fully Equiped computer Hub, a Main hall, and New Multi-purpose workshop for CJ, BCP, EI and MVT plus recreation fields.The current (2020) students’ enrolment is 204(154 Male, 50 Female and 74 K’jongs) students.

Building and Concreting Practice - BCP

This course is aimed at equipping the youth with Building and construction skills

Automotive Mechanics

This course is intended for students who may wish to qualify as motor Vehicle Mechanics and Technicians and those who wish to take up National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in future

Electrical Installation

This course is intended for students who wish to qualify as electrical technicians and those who intend to acquire practical skills in the technology of electricity, electrical installation and maintenance. It is also relevant to those who may to wish to pursue National Diploma in Electrical Engineering in future.

Tailoring and Garment Cutting

This National Certificate in Fashion and Garment Design (NCFD) curriculum is aimed at producing fashion designers who are relevant to the industry and world of work. It is learner-centered and competence-based. It emphasizes acquisition of skills by the learners, through practical teaching and execution of projects.

Carpentry and Joinery

Carpentry is a skilled trade and a craft in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of buildings, ships, timber bridges, concrete formwork, etc. Carpenters traditionally worked with natural wood and did the rougher work such as framing
